Born, February 10, 1925, she was the only child of Ethel and Channing Lewis. Worked 35 years at LPS as a school psychologist. She loved us all and we knew it. FrenCh Albert louis French, 79, died on Tuesday (5-3-11). He was born in Broken Bow on September 13, 1931 to Benjamin and Bernadette (Piel) French. Albert was a member of Southview Christian Church, a Mason with Union Lodge, and a member of the Eastern Star, Palmyra Chapter 157, and volunteered with Food Net. He loved bowling, playing cards and enjoyed working outside on his farm.

liesKe renee dorothy lieske, 87, of Minden, died Monday, May 2, 2011 at Long Term Care in Minden. Renee was born October 14, 1923. On July 21,1945 she was married to Gerald Richard Lieske. Survivors include her children: David Lieske and wife, Sherry of Kearney, Tom Lieske and wife, Mary of Minden and Tim Lieske and wife, Brenda of Lincoln; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. peterson eldon e. peterson, 89, Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, (5-311) at home with family by his side. Born (10-11-21) in St. Edward, Neb. to Henry and Ethel (Johnson) Peterson.

Member of the American Legion Post Retired in 1983 as Director of Unemployment Insurance from the Nebraska Department of Labor after 37 years of service. Eldon was an avid camper for many years. He was a member of the Heartland Travelers Chapter of Family Motor Coach Association and Conestoga Campers. He enjoyed woodworking and crafts during his retirement. He was a charter member of St.

Andrew's Lutheran Church. Eldon's family meant a great deal to him. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris; daughter, Patricia and son-in-law, Mark Hansen of Lincoln; granddaughter, Mindy Lee McEntee and her husband, Sean of Odenton, Md. Was Chapter Chairman and National Chairman of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, past President, teach and mentor of S.C.O.R.E past President active volunteer and contributor of various committees at Cathedral of the Risen Christ and St. Joseph parishes; awarded Bishop Cary Medal at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ. His interests included his family, bridge, agriculture, woodworking, traveling around the country, the stock market, Nebraska football, and had fun playing the lottery. He was well liked wherever he went and known for a big smile, sense of humor, and positive attitude in life.
