Patrol Looking for 2 More in Drug Roundup Omaha (UPI) The State Patrol said Friday two more persons are to be arrested in a drug roundup involving 15 felony warrants issued in Douglas and Sarpy counties. The patrol said Lanson Fry, 27, Omaha, was arrested Thursday night in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on three felony warrants of illegal distribution and sale of controlled substances in Sarpy County. Fry, a patrol spokesman said, allegedly had operations somewhat larger than the average street drug dealer.

The warrants were issued following a two-month undercover investigation in the Douglas-Sarpy County area. The spokesman said the drugs involved cocaine, hashish, marijuana, amphetamines and hallucinogens. Arrested earlier Thursday were Robert Escamilla, 21, Patrick Renter, 20, John Lewis, 16, and Richard Graham, all of Omaha. Bonds on the four were set at $1,000, and Douglas County Judge Sam Cooper set their preliminary hearing for May 9 on the unlawful delivery of a controlled substance charges. The patrol spokesman said so far this year, 165 persons have ATTENTION LINCOLN VOTERS Is This the Kind of City-County Government You Want? The verdict came Thursday night. But alas, poor Bev Sandman must face three other juries in the next three nights. Any or all could still rule that the young lady should fry. This reporter knows the first jury was astute because he was tabbed to serve on it. He also knows the trial for real, though it did take place in a bona fide district courtroom.

Night of January is entirely a trial-play, so what better place for its staging than a 60-year-old courthouse?
