Gerhard of chairman of the work committee of the Nebraska Council of Churches and Christian Education, announced new members of the committee at the meeting of the executive group of the council, Monday noon at the YMCA.

New members are Mrs. H. W. Deems, Miss Doris Roberts, Mrs. J.

F. Wichelt, and Mrs. J. F. Baldwin, of Lincoln, Mrs.

Maurice Lyerla of Fairbury, and Millicent Savery of Hastings. Dr. Howard Buxton of Lincoln made a financial report, indicating that the debts of the council are being eliminated. Plans for a financial campaign were discussed which were designed for the expansion of the work of the council. This campaign is to begin immediately and end at the annual meeting in January.

Mrs. Alberta Cox, Is Taken By Death Mrs. Alberta Marian Cox, 62, I'csident of Lincoln for 27 years, died Sunday morning at a local hospital. Her home was at 234 North Seventeenth street. Surviving are her husband, W.

H. Cox, Lincoln; her mother, Mrs. John Steffin, Cedar Rapids, one brother. Dr. J.

V. Farrington of Omaha and one niece, Eloise Farrington of Omaha. DAVID EISELE, 82, SALTILLO POSTMASTER, DIES David E. Eisele, 82, 2739 Sumner street, former postmaster and stationmaster at Saltillo, died Sunday. He came to Saltillo in 1876, and had lived most of his life in Lancaster county.

He operated a grocery store there for a number of years, and was caretaker of the Lincoln Automo i 1 club park until his health began to fail. He was a member of the David A. O. U. W.

and the Knights of Pythias at Hickman. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Taylor and Mrs. Mary Prewitt, both of Lincoln, and Mrs. Blanche Stevens of Storm Lake, four sons, Samuel of Hastings, John and Lynn of Lincoln, and Harry of Los Angeles; five sisters, Mrs.

Fred Berghahn, Mrs. Frank Linaberry and Mrs. Myrtle Ashton all of Omaha; Mrs, John Cox of Chambers and Mrs. George Nutcher of Santa Cruz. two brothers.

MRS. HAUSCHILDT, DAUGHTER, HURT CAR CRASH Mrs. Gertrude Hauschildt, 33, 4715 South street, was said to be in fair condition Monday morning by Bryan Memorial hospital, where she was taken after suffering injuries in an automobile accident about 10:40 a. m.
