Engwall, tvangeliatlc station missionary to the Belgian Congo, Africa under the American Baptist foreign mission society of the Northern Baptist convention. He will speak on the theme, "Building with Christ in Africa." Dr.

Ehgwall was trained In Wll liam Jewell college and the Uni verstiy 01 uucago, receiving a Ph degree from the latter school in 1913. He continued his theological education at the divinity 1 7" y't 7 V' CHAPLAIN W. KorblU, Lutheran pastor who has had extensive experience in a general hoipttal in England and. in a P0W camp in Frantje, at one tima served as pastor- ot churches in Falrbury and Eagle, Neb. He is a native of Chicago and received his training at Concordia college, Milwaukee and at Concordia Seminary at St.

Louis. Chaplain Korbltz has six tons, two of whom are overseas and one is In training as a naval cadet' Mrs. Korbltz now resides writh the three younger sons at Medford, Wis. theme, The Sufficient Gospel Other ministers assisting in the service will be Rev. Arthur L.

degree from Hartford school of Missions, Hartford, Conn. In 1823, he and Mrs. Eng wall were appointed to mission work in Africa serving Jour sta ttons, Banza Manteka, Kikongo, KJmpete and Moania. In 1941, wartime travel made it lmpossi ble for Mrs. Engwall to accom-1 pany him to the mission field, so he returned alone, again redesig nated to Banza Manteke.

9 In January, 1943, Dr. Engwall again returned to the United i 1 I States on furlough, accompaning Dr. H. M. Frees, a fellow mls- alonary whose health necessitated immeaiaie nospuauzauon in America.

Both Dr. and Mrs. Eng wall plan to return to the mission field when the furlough is over. Other leaders to participate In the conference are Rev. Alfred Hardy, Nebraska director of Evangelism; Rev.

United Brethren school of missions ends sessions The school of missions sponsored by Calvary United Brethren church which has been held each Sunday night for the past several weeks will conclude its present session Sunday, June 10. Greatest Increased enrollment over previous years was noted in Elm Park Methodist church with a total of 143 and Bethany Chris tian church with an enrollment ot 128. Excellent attendance is also reported and all schools are well staffed.

Most ot tha schools which began work June 4, will conclude their programs on Friday with closing services either Friday night or tha following Sunday. Three church es. Fourth Presbyterian and Fourth Methodist, and St. John's Evangelical and Reformed churches will continue their schools thru June 22. Four new schools will open June 11.

Churches to open Mon day and their directors are: Westminster Presbyterian, Ruth Easterday, director; St. James Methodist, Mrs. Charles Carroll; Lakeview Methodist, Floyd Kitchen and Assembly of Ood, Rev. Lester Dickinson. To hold combined gerviee St.

Mission church Tha Tree Mission church, Stronuburj, Neb, held a three daj celebration, in tha dedicatory observance of their new church building on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of last week. Highlight of the occasion was the visit of Dr, E. A. Halleen, president of the Evangelical Fret Church of Amer let who spoke on all three daya, delivering tha dedicatory aermon on Sunday. MUford Olson, Polk, Neb. Erie rorslund and John Falk. in the financial report given by John Falk, treasurer, revealed the fact that of the entire cost of $11,000, approximately $900 remained to be raised. In a special appeal by the pastor, Rev. Mr.
