A proposed' ordinance change that affects turkeys, chickens and other types of fowl, as well as livestock such as horses and cattle, will have a public hearing before the council at its 1:30 p.m. meeting in the City Council chamber at the County-City Building, 555 S. 10th The proposed change would update a 1936 ordinance that allows livestock and fowl in city limits. Minimum residential lot sizes and maximum numbers of animals are included in the proposed ordinance.

Permits would be needed for more than three rabbits and more than seven adult fowl, according to the propos-' al.
